| | |  Devon Murray passes theory driving test
Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan) has updated his blog. He mentions that he passed his theory driving test and generally details what he's been up to. Quote:

I'm slightly confused. In Ireland, is the driving age lower. I thought he was 16 yet in Wales, England and presumably Scotland you have to be 17 to learn driving. Unless he's 17 already...

The driving age in Ireland is 17. But I think that you can take your theory test anytime if you are approaching 17, I think that even applies here in the UK. But you cant do the pratcial test or driving lessons until you are 17 and have a provisional (learners) license. I think thats the way it goes, most laws in Eire are just about the same as the UK.
But if he can do that it means that I can do that. Nah, I'll just wait till i'm 17, so then I can do the theory and practical tests round the same time. | |

But he's only just turned 16, or so I was under the impression he had. You can't take any test before 17 in the UK. You can get your privisionals prior to your 17th. Nah he was born late 1988 which means he wont be 17 till October.
