Waterstones have listed Deathly Hallows as being 608 pages long on their website. If true, this would make the US edition roughly 688 pages long. However, as with the German website that listed it as 700 pages long, this figure isn't confirmation of the definitive book length.

Actually that could be an accurate number:
Take OoTP:
US Edition: 870 pages
UK Edition: 766 pages
The German translation of OoTP is 300 pages longer than the English version.
But I was hoping for a slightly longer book. But I guess if everything gets tied up it doesn't really matter.

It's not a comfirmation until Bloomsbury and Scholastic come out and say it themselves. So far it seems to be a decent length though, if the rumors have any truth to them. I am hoping for a lengthier novel, but I can only hope. I know it will be amazing either way  | |

Well I suppose thats good, if thats how it ends. But I really was hoping for something a bit longer... like OotP or even longer would suit me! But if this is how JKR is finishing it, then I suppose it must be for the best! And plus its just a rumor, right? I guess we have to wait to find out!
And I am also confused as to why the US will be longer than the UK...
