Deathly Hallows spoiler forum now open!

Hey all you SnitchSeekers! Wanting badly to talk about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Well, as you may have heard, we've put in a spoiler ban so everyone who has not finished the novel can have a chance to read it without having it ruined for them. Spoiler ban means that you are NOT allowed to discuss Deathly Hallows, talk about Deathly Hallows, wear spoilery Deathly Hallows graphics, or anything else that could potentially spoil the book for another member (or mod for that matter!).

We have ONE PLACE, and ONE PLACE ONLY where you can go to gush over everything in the novel: SnitchSeeker now has a Spoiler Forum! In this forum, you can talk almost anything and everything Deathly Hallows related. So, if you've finished the book and you're ready to chat, just reveal the link and the password below! I wouldn't go in there if you haven't read, though. You have been warned.

Password is the last word in Chapter Seven's title

Just so you know, once you put the password in once, you won't need to again - it's just a one time thing! (Note: If you log out or clear cookies, you will need to reenter the password). Please remember that the spoiler ban will last for a few weeks at the very least. We want to give everyone the opportunity to read first. Some people want to savor the last book, and we're trying our best to give everyone that opportunity.

Also, do not post spoilers in this thread! Save it for the forum! If you post spoilers in this thread, you'll be instantly suspended from the site and won't have a chance to use the spoiler forum!

We're sure you've noticed that several forums have been shut down.

Grimmauld (FanFic's and all of it's sub forums)
Diagon Alley (General HP discussions)

These forums are closed in order to hopefully cut down on spoilers. We'll open them back up when the mods have all had a chance to read and when we feel the time is right. We would expect most to open with the next two weeks.

In addition to the above forums being temporarily closed, members may experience a delay in thread approval. The mods and admins are avoiding the moderation queue until such a time as they have finished reading. This is to ensure that they don't get spoiled by people submitting spoilery new threads. We don't think the dely will be more than a few days but, please be patient with us.

Snitchseeker has also turned off registration. We're sorry to have to do it, but we feel that it will really cut back on people joining just to post spoilers. We will post another news story once registrations may resume, probably in about one week.

VERY smart idea - I'm so glad the forums were closed, and I'm glad this one is being guarded so strictly. I've finished the book already, but I certainly wouldn't want to be the reason why the ending {or really any part of the book} is spoiled for someone else who hasn't finished .. I know what it's like to have someone ruin a book for you that you've been waiting SO long to read for yourself. Thank you!

The password isn't working for me either. I tried it a million times, even pressing each letter slowly to make sure I didn't spell it wrong. And I also tried it in both Firefox and IE but still not working. I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem.

Great idea not to post spoliers thats one of the reasons i read the book so fast so that people wouldn't spoil it for me, i would of loved to savour it but oh well to late now lol

I cant wait to gush....but it wont open for me...so i will try again and again.....great idia.....some of us want to saviour it but some of us want to read it quickly to know (meeeee)...it was great cause my mom had it maild to rusiia so i can read it over my holiday...im still thamking her...i read it in like 14 houers...but it was spread out in two days cause my mom and her friends wont let me read all day...which i could...comeon we all love hp...someone has mentioned it eralier it is the best book shes written...AND i dont know about the cookies thing so my forum wont open....
