French movie site Allocine has listed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II to be released May 1, 2011. It is unclear if this release date is only for France, or if it is the slated date for any other countries, including the US and UK. Please regard this as a rumour, especially since the first of May falls on a Sunday, until we hear confirmation from Warner Bros.

It depends; different countries have different days on which films are generally opened. So sometimes European countries have had the film a day or two before. And sometimes the films have opened a couple weeks in the U.K. before the U.S. Quote:
