| | |  Deathly Hallows: Part 2 US 4-disc Blu-ray combo pack rumoured for November 11 release
Blu-ray.com is reporting that the U.S. DVD and Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will take place on Friday, November 11, 2011 - incidentally the opening day of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter's big celebration event on the film series in Orlando, Florida. 
Information on two separate Blu-ray packs were revealed, including a two-disc Blu-ray set, and the quadruple-play featuring the Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy. The two-disc set promises BD-Live community access, as well as Bonus View (PiP) for the Blu-rays compiled.
The four-disc set is tentatively set to include: Quote: Video

Video resolution: 1080p
Aspect ratio: 2.40:1
Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1
Audio
English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1

50GB Blu-ray Disc

Please note that at the present time this information, including the release dates, have NOT been confirmed by Warner Bros. Pictures or Warner Bro. Home Video. We will be inquiring with Warner Bros on the authenticity of the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Blu-ray release dates, including if both Blu-ray sets will indeed be available to the public, and hope to have more information on that soon. At the present time the only announced DVD/Blu-ray release relating to Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is the French box set with Elder wand, seen here.  | |

I hope they put all the extras on regular DVD, like they did for
HBP. I don't want to buy a Blu-Ray player, as I think that its
going to be obsolete in a few years.
Once again--ATTN DAVIDS YATES/HEYMAN:
These are the things all Potter fans want to see on the EXTRA DVD'S:
1. Extended version of last day filming.
2. All bloopers and outakes.
3. Rupert/Emma serving ice cream from his Mr Whippy's ice cream truck,
on the last day picnic.
4. The farewell bash JKR/Warners gave for the entire cast/crew at
Leavesden.
Both 3 & 4 would probably be personal videos, but I'm sure some cast/crew
took videos on their own.
You will have the HAPPIEST FANS and sell the most videos of all time if
you do this for all of us fans.

| its time to choose between what is right and what is easy
i think this sounds way too soon considering it is still in theatres now.. but at the same time i am hoping its true because i would love to have it in my house to watch whenever i want!!!
i know i should just wait and buy a pack with all 8 but i wont be able to wait ill have to buy this one first | |

WB got me hooked on the Ultimate Editions sets due to extended versions.....but then stopped doing it after 1 and 2. The deleted scenes are included but all you can do is play them, they are not incorporated into the movies. This was not what was promised when the Ultimate Editions were introduced. I guess WB saw future big $$$$ by releasing an extended edition set well after 7.2 was released. Look how long it took to get Lord of the Rings on extended version blu-ray and they stick so many other options on the BD disc that each movie must be switched to disc 2 to complete. You've got 5 disc changes to see 3 movies. WB please don't screw up Harry like you did LOTR.
