| | |  'Deathly Hallows' breaking pre-order records
Since the revelation of the publication date for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' (the seventh and final *sniff* installment of the much loved series) by J.K. Rowling on her website February 1st, Amazon.com is reporting a 547 percent increase in pre-orders over the sixth installment 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'. Quote:
The seventh and final book in the epic series has been so popular for Amazon.com customers that the online retailer sold more copies of it on the first day than the company did of book six in the first two weeks of the pre-order period.

“Our customers have waited a long time for this book so it’s no surprise to see them flocking to our site to pre-order it,” said Greg Greeley, vice president of books at Amazon.com. “Our customer discussion boards are teeming with excitement which we expect to grow in anticipation of the book’s release in July.”

Wow, that's a lot of pre-orders in one day on one site! Just imagine how many will be sold on pre-order alone before the release, not to mention how many will be sold in the first week alone of its release! It really will be setting records again!! GO HP!!!

This isn't even remotely surprising, because there's loads of people who never read the books because they were always waiting to be able to read them all. Not me of course I'm too smart for that ... but the really annoying thing is, when are they going to release the super deluxe all 7 volumes with new covers and illustrations thousand dollar a piece gold embossed limited signed edition with Harry's wand and a lock of Hermione's hair version ...
I don't mind ... I can always give all my old copies to some poor needy kid ... 
I can't wait ... well I have too but I can't wait EDIT: Whoever thought of the heart smilie up by the title ZOMG! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111  I hope it's not just until valentines. *runs off to the love threads* Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
