| | |  Deathly Hallows Bovingdon Airfield set photos
Photos from a Deathly Hallows location shoot at Bovingdon Airfield in England have been released, featuring two long lines of cranes containing lights around a road. At the moment it is unknown what scenes are being filmed there and on what dates, but we are currently inquiring for details. Preliminary pictures from the set can be seen here:

Hmmm. Might be for part of 7 Potters. Where Harry and Hagrid are in Sirius' motorcycle. We saw those stunt doubles filming a bit on a road, so this might be Dan and Robbie Coltrane doing their part. Too bad they won't film the 7 Potter scenes like they were in the book. But I'm confident that Deathly Hallows is going to blow me away :-)

ibecbec, if you are suggesting, like others have, that just because they have done some filming on the road we aren't going to see them flying, you shouldn't jump the gun like the rest of them.
Any filming that relates to flying will most likely take place either in the studio or some other site away from a main road where they can use green screen, just as they do for all their flying sequences.
They've flown before, even in OOTP they flew just as in the book when they took Harry to Grimmauld Place, and we didn't see that being filmed, only heard about the second unit filming for the background of the Thames which was then added in later but it was shot in the studio with green screen.
We shouldn't make assumptions on what Yates has planned based on one segment of filming on a main road with a couple of doubles.

I agree with you...Dan's stunt double was injured during an air scene that they were rehearsing in Jan...I think it's either the 7 Potters scene or when the Trio escape on the Dragon...So I do think that the flying will be in the 7 Potters scene...

Dan got a new stunt double though so they could be flying... I dont know but it looks really cool!
