| | |  Death Eater Yaxley cast in Half-Blood Prince
We reported earlier this year that actor Lord Johnpaul Castrianni had been cast as a Death Eater in Half-Blood Prince, and even went into detail about the scene in which he was involved: Quote: BH: Have you already shot scenes of Half-Blood Prince? In which scenes are you present?
LJC: My scenes were filmed several months ago and I finished in February (2008). I was in the scenes regarding Alan Rickman, Dan, Michael (Dumbledore) Tom (Malfoy) and several other cast who I believe have not been officially published by Warner Bros yet, so unfortunately I cannot comment on that yet.
| Casting Call Pro has now updated his CV page, on which it states that he will play the Death Eater Yaxley in the sixth film. Although Yaxley has a larger part in the seventh book, we are unaware of whether or not Castrianni will reprise his role in the Deathly Hallows films.

Nice.
So, we have several Death Eaters in the film!
Draco,Snape,Bellatrix,Narcissa,Wormtail,Greyback,A mycus,Alecto,Yaxley...!
I hope all of them (yes, even Narcissa and Wormtail)are involved in the invasion of Hogwarts!Or at least at the Astronomy Tower!
And logically, there will be several masked Death Eaters to give a creepier haunting effect!
I hope the entire scenes with the Death Eaters are extraordinary! | |

I think it's really interesting to see pictures of the cast, no matter how small a part they play. He does look a bit young though.

Fenrir Greyback is in the film, Scrimgeour is not. | Yes, by in large that is true, but there are a small handfull of castles, crumbling ruins really, in several acre plots in Ireland that were purchased by Americans a few years back. It seems that they were owned by English landed gentry back in the day and then they had to sell them to raise cash. It was more accepted to sell off your title and the land that went with it if you were in Ireland I suppose. My mother in law had to pay a one Irish pound ground fee yearly to the "lord" of the original estate on which her house was built in the 1940s. And that Lord, it turns out, had acquired title and land in the 1910s when the original descendant fell on hard times. I guess the Irish are a bit more jaded about these titles!! |
