| | |  David Thewlis told Rowling to include Lupin more in Deathly Hallows
In a new, amusing interview with The Sunday Herald, David Thewlis, who plays Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter films, discusses his new book, his acting endeavors, and filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Thewlis also describes his experience when meeting with J.K. Rowling: Quote:
Thewlis has no plans to give up acting completely, however, which will come as a relief to the makers of the Harry Potter films. He returns as Professor Remus Lupin next year in Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince. So far, he's pleased with the films.
What, though, did he make of the author when he met her?
"She was really lovely," he says. "She said she was very happy I was playing the part. Actually, she said Lupin was her favourite character. I said, 'Well put him in it more then.'
No word of what he thought about his character's part in the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. CAUTION: This interview contains some adult language!
You'll be able to see David Thewlis reprise his role as Remus Lupin in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on November 21, 2008!

I very much agree. After I finished reading DH and felt bad for Remus, I felt really bad for David.  I just love him. Both he and Remus. David is one of the greatest actors around.
And yes, he was in The Big Lebowski. Only about 5 minutes, but it was the best five minutes ever. Thewlis has no immortalized a laugh.
