At the premiere of his upcoming feature, Harry Brown, actor David Bradley (Argus Filch) spoke about how fame has not affected his young Harry Potter costars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, as well as the end of the series. Photos of David at the premiere can be found here.  Quote:
“You wouldn’t even know that they had made the money they have. Their parents and the people looking after them keep them grounded. They don’t disappear off to their trailers in between bits, they hang around and chat like the rest of us. Those kids work really hard. I really admire them.”
He says the lead actors and actresses have the same dressing rooms as the rest of the cast. “Nobody’s pulling rank on this one. We all have nice trailers and they all look about the same size.”

With the last Harry Potter film due out next year David will be sad to say goodbye. “I’ll miss everybody. It’s been a great ride and great to be part of something that’s gone on for 10 years and I’ve managed to go that whole time without getting killed off! I bet that wrap party is going to be HUGE and so emotional! I would be crying my butt off if I was them. Heck, I will be bawling like a baby when I watch DH! But I agree with him Dan, Rupert, and Emma are amazing!  Don't forget to vote for HBP for the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS!!

I agree with him 100%, the 'kids' always come across as so grounded when they are being interviewed.It's nice to hear of child stars that don't go off the rails or think too highly of themselves.
And I am sooo glad that Filch doesn't get killed off! Where would the remaining films be without him shuffling around moaning at the students?!  | |

The "kids" have seriously always been very grounded- every adult (well the trio are adults now too) on the set- Robbie Coltrane, Jason Issacs, and David Bradley have always said this about the trio. It is nice to hear for a change about kid stars.
Love Filch!!!  Cant wait to see him one last time in DH!!! I think many of us will be bawling when the credits roll across the screen in July 2011.

He always played Filch exactly they way I imagined him in the books, and I'm definitely going to be sad once it's all done with.
I think it's good to hear that the lead roles don't get more attention than hte others on the set. It helps everybody stay more grounded.

I think the parents of our beloved trio have had a very important influence in their youth because the parents had to take care about the money before the kids turned 18, and I also definitly think that the education would be as normal as possible, on the set or not. With for example screaming fans in class and around the street I presume that most of the childactors woulg have gone mad....
But i' more than happy that Daniel, Emma and Rupert will finish HP untill the very end and the fact that they have worked with 'British A-list' actors can help them for their future career if they plan to do so because with all the advices and masterclasses..... Well i think I do what I would do when I was standing in their shoes
