According to the Andrew Manson Personal Management Ltd, actor and martial artist Dave Legeno has been cast as Fenrir Greyback in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He has been featured in such films as Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Batman Begins, and Stormbreaker.

I think that greyback has to be a big guy just to prove that not all werewolves look alike. Lupin is thin and ragged because he does not like being a werewolf, but greyback loves his lifa and loves killing so he would be bigger. | |

I think Nighy would've been a bit too old for the role, but I like the general idea for Greyback looking older. I mean, they casted the Marauders a bit older, so he should at least look older than Lupin (David Thewlis). The guy they casted looks too young and not rugged enough!
I pictured Greyback as being Daniel Day-Lewis. He looks older and I think he could totally make the part amazing.  Quote:

That is totally awesome because when I was reading HBP I pictured Liam Neeson all the way. And then the director spoke of wanting Nighy for the role of Scrimheour and I thought that was a perfect fit as well. Pretty much what I'm saying is I totally agree with you. | |
