Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed he's going to be playing Harry Potter in the film of the Goblet of Fire.

Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed he's going to be playing Harry Potter in the film of the Goblet of Fire.

Although it's been rumoured for a while he'll play the character in the fourth film, it's now definite.

Daniel told the official Harry Potter film site that he was working on Prisoner of Azkaban and said: "I will certainly make Goblet of Fire."

But he wasn't so sure about being involved in the Order of the Phoenix, adding: "After that? Who knows?"

Matthew Lewis will be back as Neville Longbottom
Neville will be back too

It's not been made clear if Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will be in the fourth film yet, but it seems Daniel is keen they return.

"It always feels good working with Emma, Rupert, Tom and Matthew. We have become very good friends and as this is now the third film we have made together our relationships just get stronger," he said.

At Newsround's website we do know that Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, is returning for Potter four.

In the interview Daniel also chats about other movies, using e-mail to keep in touch with his mates, and learning to play the guitar.

I am so releived that Dan's gonna be on GoF but i really want Emma, Rupert and Tom in it too.

I want four of them in the rest of Hp movies too. I mean what would Hp be without them?

I am SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY

Dan is great, it wouldn't be the same without him, and yes, I hope the others join the cast too, I think Rupert will, I've just read an interview with him and he said it was so much fun doing the movies, I think he will come back, I hope so anyway.

I am looking forward to seeing the new Dumbledore, Percy Weasley's character reckons Mike Gambon portrays Dumbledore better then Richard Harris did, I will believe it when I see it.

I miss Richard, he was cool

Thank goodness. i hope they can keep the continuity up for all the films - it would mean such a lot to fans, and it would be ompossible to think of anyone else as harry, ron and hermione now. Although they had to change dumbledores, that was extenuating circumstances, and michael gambon is just playing richard harris playing dumbledore as everyone was used to that portrayal.

I hope they stay consistant with the actors. Otherwise it will seem....cheap. Like a Disney sequal. And all this hooplow about them 'getting too old' Dont pull that B.S. Arent there 20 year olds + playing teenagers in tons of other films? Just keep the characters. I wont go see them if they replace the main characters....it'll just seem.......CHEAP

That's very good , because if they took him out of movies is not going to be the same .

Am glad he is going to be in the 4th movie, it would not be harry potter with out him. the same goes to the others. just hope everyone stays on for most of the movies.
