I think Dan portrays Harry really well, there are a few scenes sometimes where I cringe a little but remember, this is the first thing he has really done on this level and for him to win an award is fantastic news. Even if it's because of the whole Harry Potter hype, he has still worked hard and achieved an ambition of his, I am so happy for him.

It really depends on who is he up against... I think he's not THAT great of an actor. He's good but not great. Congrats anyways Dan... Breakthrough.. he would've been the right choice to deserve it but BEST actor.. I don't think so. It's really based on votes.. so it doesn't make a big deal but if it's based on talent.. I don't think so...

Personally I think he is a rather awful actor... and it is not just because he is young because Rupert really is much better! which is quite amusing seeing as he didn't even have any acting experience.

But congratulations to him anyway...I'm sure he deserves it
I agree. Rupert and Tom deserve awards if Dan has one.

Yeah.. I think Rupert is definitely better!! Tom.. yeah.. he's kinda good too... He did convince most Hp fans who didn't read the books... that he was a really bad guy.

I am wondering why he didn't win something like this earlier. The boy is excellent.

Did it say this award is voted on... in Japan? That's kind of funny. I don't know what the Star Channel is either. Nice to know that he won though... whatever it means. It's always nice to win.

its in the fox network, owned by rupert murdoch......... STAR is actually an acronym and the A stands for asia........... so u may not know it......

Ruperts the best, he portrays Ron so well.

Congratulations Dan...even though you'll probably never see this.
