Dan Radcliffe has said before that he thinks Harry will die in book seven of the HP series, and the Mirror is reporting that he is still convinced that will be the case. Quote: |

my friends and i have this theory that voldemort made harry the seventh horcrux. it would explain why harry can sense voldemort and his emotions, and it goes along with the theory that harry will die. in order to destroy voldemort, harry will have to die, and we will all mourn him. |

I really hope that Harry doesn't die ... but I think Daniel's right ... How else would the books end? I have the same kind of theory as ballerinaboo ... That is exactly how I imagine the story to end! But then again ... I sometimes think that it will be Snape and Voldemort that will die. But ... (again) I believe that Snape will tell Harry a secret that will make Harry change his mind about Snape. I think Snape will tell Harry that he is actually a good guy pretending to be a bad guy ... oh I don't know! hehe!

I have thousands of theroies about what could happen. But in the end there is only one women who knows the real and true ending and that is JK. But for me the only way to end the books is to kill voldermort, and harry. Voldermort for the obvious resons, and harry because i think its the right thing to do not only because it stops all further books being published ect but because harry has always managed to survive, and i think in the end he won't be able to survive the last and final fight, and even if he does every death eater is going to want to kill him. So i think he's going to die. Sorry, i don't want him to die either but i know it will proably happen.*sob*

i have always thought that HP is a tragedy having closey studied shakespere at school.
If you look the term Tragedy up in a dictionary it goes along the line of this..... ''shocking or sad event: serious play or film etc, in which THE HEROS DESTROYED BYA PERSONAL FAILING IN ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES.'' (Collins dictionary 1993)

take Romeo and Juliet for example, both die at the hand of the other,their flaw being young, naive and in love.
Mercutio dies, he's the innocent in this.

i think they are right , im expecting harry to die, from a literature point if view it has to happen.
