DanRadcliffe.com reports that the Ultimate Hogwarts LEGO building challenge winners have been announced in the Nov/Dec 2004 edition of the LEGO Club magazine. The magazine challenged readers to design their version of Hogwarts Castle from their own LEGO collections, with the winners being selected by Dan, Rupert and Emma.
This is what Dan had to say about the first prize-winning entry from Brenda Brooks of Wisconsin:
Quote:
"This was a fun model. I love the detail that was included. The model really came alive for me when I saw all the characters in place. This was the complete model of Hogwarts. Congratulations!"
Emma Watson said the following about another first prize-winning entry from Drew & Ryan Bradshaw, Georgia:
Quote:
"I loved this for showing the Quidditch Pitch, train and layout - it gave a real sense of scale. Hogwarts here felt very close to how it's portrayed in the films."
Rupert Grint said the folowing about the grand prize-winning entry from Todd Dillard, Florida:
Quote:
"This stood out for me as it felt like Hogwarts was a really solid, grand castle - exactly as it's meant to be. I also loved the detail in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, especially the addition of the office at the front."
