| | |  Dan Radcliffe wins Black family tree
The BBC is reporting that Dan Radcliffe bid £30,000 for the Black Family tree, illustrated by J.K.Rowling, that was auctioned in aid of Book Aid International.
They also say that Dan bid on other items including donations from Iain Banks and Tom Stoppard, totalling £4,680. Quote:
Radcliffe's mother Marcia Gresham bid on his behalf at the central London auction.
She said: "This should put paid to anyone who says that Daniel doesn't like reading.
"Daniel hasn't stopped since he read the first Harry Potter book and he loves Iain Banks and Tom Stoppard."

It's great that both JK Rowling and Daniel Radcliffe pitched in to help the charity. I think it's cool that Dan did, but also the he now has a bit of the legacy he helped create by portraying Harry Potter. It's a neat bit of the Harry Potter history to own.

Cool for Dan! It must mean much to him. It´s comforting to know the guy who plays probably the most famous wizard in the world is also addicted to the story, and collects Potter-stuff.
I would be glad if I only had a Sevvie doll ... But no. I have a Harry figure, Ron figure, even Hagrid and Fluffy figures (as you see, I don´t collect only the cute things; I almost bought the troll, too  ) but haven´t found a Snape yet  | |
