| | |  Dan Radcliffe to star in Lip Sync?
The Birmingham Post has an interview with Richard Lucas, a screenwriter, who in talking about his new project Lip Sync, mentioned that the script has been sent to Dan Radcliffe.
Set in Birmingham, England, it is a romantic comedy. Quote:
The story he has written is set in the Electric cinema and focuses on the two projectionists, Alex and Richie.
Alex is in his early 20s and unlucky in love ever since he caught his girlfriend cheating on him. Richie is married but putting his own relationship at risk because he is spending too much time trying to get Alex fixed up with girls.
When Alex becomes enamoured with a beautiful French jazz singer the pair go to extreme lengths to try and impress her.
However, when she realises she has been set-up by the two men (albeit with the best of intentions) she flees back to France,
In desperation Alex spams the entire country in an attempt to find her and becomes an over night celebrity when the police arrest him for it.
Of Dan's potential involvement with the film, Lucas said; Quote:
“I have spoken to his agent and he loves the script. It would be great for him to play a romantic lead.
“Alex is not somebody who is particularly smooth and I can’t think of anyone better to play it than Daniel. He has got that awkwardness but he is still handsome, and both boys and girls like him.”
The project is to be directed by Peter Minns and produced by Adrian Milne.
We will let you know as soon as we hear official word on what, if any, involvement Dan will have with this movie.  | |

OMg this seems like it's going to be a great movie, I can't wait to see it, with Dan or not, but I sure hope Dan does get the part, I would love to see him play Alex. Not to mention reading that part the picture I had for Alex was of Dan. Can't wait to hear more!

the whole time i read this i thought it wold be Dan. that sounds like a great plot for a movie and it would be good for him to play a romantic role.

Sounds like a fun film.
But Dan must get stacks and stacks of scripts sent to him every day.
It's great that this writer wants him for the role, but man, I'm sure there are tons of screenwriters out there with similar feelings!

Although that sounds like a nice role, I'm not sure if Dan will have any time to be in it. Give the guy a break already! He'll have a nrevous breakdown if people keep giving him film roles!
