Daniel Radcliffe will be partaking in the New York Times TimesTalks event entitled Daniel Radcliffe: Screen to Broadway Stage on August 19th at the TimesCenter in New York City. During the discussion, Dan will talk about his acting career, including his work on Harry Potter, My Boy Jack, and the upcoming Equus on Broadway (and Equus at the West End in London last year).

Playbill, who broke the news, also have a new photo of Dan, which can be seen in our galleries:

The event will take place from 6:30-8:00 PM, for which tickets (which at the moment are still available) can be bought here by anyone who can attend.

UPDATE: I will be attending the event, which has an audience questions segment, on behalf of SnitchSeeker.com. Therefore feel free to submit questions (via email or in the comments) which we will put into consideration for the event.

I live near New York but probably won't go, lol which is pretty sad. Any who the pic looks awesome. He is such a hottie!

it would be awfully tiring to travel often, even if he spaces it out every 2 weeks, which is impossible given the demands of his work. he'd be on the plane every other day if he was going home to England (which would drive any passenger nutz). besides, its been reported that he has at least 2 apartments in NY, both super swanky. even if they were supposed to be for "investment purposes", a nice soft bed in a big room with all the creature comforts at your fingertips would certainly be a lot more appealing than even the best first class amenities.

so chances are Dan has been staying in NY, vacationing, meeting the cast, partying? i've been combing the blogs and so far i havent seen a sighting of him out and about (other than attending that play that SS has covered a while back). he either has a very clever way of hiding his identity, or he's being mistakened for Elijah Wood

edit: btw, when is the deadline for submitting the questions?

It's sounds interesting. Too bad I live so far from NY. I always wanted to go there; maybe I'll go up there for Equus.

I'd say a couple of days before the event? You've got a month to think up a good question, don't worry (I'm thinking up a few myself, to be honest, lmao).
