Dan Radcliffe talks sad & emotional final day on Deathly Hallows set
Earlier this evening on the red carpet of the 64th annual Tony Awards, Daniel Radcliffe talked for the first time about the ending of the Harry Potter films, which brought everyone on set to tears. Filming for Deathly Hallows completed this past Saturday, June 12th.
Quote:
"Everyone was really devastated. It was really, really sad," Radcliffe said Sunday. "[We] were crying quite a lot."
When asked how it felt to end his role as the boy wizard, Radcliffe said, "It's a weird, weird feeling."
Dan also spoke to the Associated Press about being more deserving to attend the Tony Awards, having done it before two years back, as well as performing on Broadway in Equus.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.
I love Daniel Radcliffe. He looked great at the 64th annual Tony Awards.
And, oh Lord, I feel like crying... I mean we all know this day was comin but to really know that the end has come to a GREAT franchise... I'm just emotional right now. We all are.
June 12th 2010... the day that filming for the great and fantastic Harry Potter series came to a close. The curtains may have closed, but we will always have these memories with us. We will have the books to read over and over and we will have the films to watch over and over again.

Aww.... I can't believe it's all coming to an end.
:'(
I wanna go to the theme park. Just so it doesn't seem like it's over.

And I should know 'cause I am one of these, happy to blend and I really am honestly.
The whole world's tryin' to be somebody, kickin' themselves 'bout what could've been.
What's wrong with bein' a nobody? I'm not pretendin' I am what I'll never be.
Well, now that the tears have stopped I can focus on the problem at hand: IT'S NEARLY OVER!
This is so devastating...I grew up with this...It's like loosing someone you love, really like, to quote someone on this site, "...getting out of a nine year relationship."
*Sniff* For me it will definitely take some time to realise that the journey has come to an end :'(. It's hard to accept the fact that they've finished shooting the film.
