Dan Radcliffe has spoken out against recent statements made by politicians in the press that blame increases in crime levels on British teens and describe them as “hoody-wearing criminals.” Quote:
That hoody stuff is a lot of c**p, isn't it? By having a go at the kids, the blame is wrongly apportioned. Being a teenager is not about violence.

Thank goodness someone with influence who is a teenager has spoken out about that complete rubbish. Thanks to a small minority of teenagers it's pretty much impossible to be a teenager in the UK these days without having someone breathing down the back of your neck!

It's true though. Parents and adults often tend to think the worst of their children and teenagers in general. We aren't nearly as violent as you think nor are we as pessimistic, ignorant, or stupid.
The minority is often paid more attention to because they attract more attention. Those are the people you should be worrying about. We aren't all like that. | |
