Not in so many words perhaps  but in a new interview with VH1 Dan has given his opinion on theories and discusses, amongst other things, what he thinks might happen in the last book. Quote: Do you hate Alan Rickman's character Severus Snape as much as I do now after reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince?
Unless he's like a double double double double spy! That's the thing: Alan Rickman knows the truth about his character! He knows. He has got information from J.K. Rowling -- I think probably the only person in the world, but he knows about Snape!

You just don't know. If you'd read the first book, and somebody had told you what was going to happen in the fourth, you would never have believed them. But by the time you get to the fourth, there is an utterly logical and satisfactory explanation for everything that happens. If anyone's gonna come up with Snake being a double double double double spy and make it believable, it will be J.K. Rowling.
You've speculated that Harry might not get out of the whole thing alive. I don't know if that was before you read the sixth book. Now I don't see how he can handle Voldemort on his own.
Really? I think there has got to have been something between Snape and Harry's mum in it. I don't know that for sure. But I mean, based on what you sort of seeing in the fifth book, I think there was something more to their relationship. I certainly think you're right, and I'm not sure Harry could take him on alone, unless there's a very big event that really hardens Harry and strengthens him halfway through the seventh. I don't think he's a powerful enough wizard. Maybe that will be Snape's redeeming quality!

boy oh boy..do I love the back stories for adult charactors. One reason I loved HBP so much.. I really like that he ( dan) is really so in touch with the books. I think that as an actor thats one quality u really have to have; to want to read and get as much info as u can on the character and world they live in. to have, is to know that back story, to know that what happens, but to be able to play the character as If they have No idea themselvs, cause they dont. but thats a brave statement Dan makes- lily and snape..? that could imply soooo much. thats why she defended him from james, thats why he is still loyal to dumbledore, thats why he is helping harry..its possible. but then how far could it go? will find out the truth from JKR soon enough.

How exciting... I think the same thing about Harry having to fight Snape and Harry becoming a more powerful Wizard to fight and kill Voldmort for good... I just read in book five that they find a locket in the house that none of them can open... I think it was Sirius's bro... RAB.....

hmm.. it makes you wonder if snape knows whats gunna happen to his character in the last bok...maybe dan knows whats gunna happen to harry... i doubt this only because i dont htink she would give away something liek that to someone... i just cant see her telling him what will happen to hary... but maybe....

Alan Rickman is really lucky to have the information everyone wants to get isn't he?
And about that Lily/James thingy, I have to agree with Dan. There was something more about it but not in a love way. Maybe the two of them met before Hogwarts and were friends and then got separated from each other after the house selection. Or perhaps (something I really believe in) Snape loved Lily but she didn't love him.

OMG! Alan Rickman is the only person who knows about Snape apart from JK of course. But I don't think that Snape and Lily had some sort of relationship probably just a friendship or something. Weird! But it might explain why Snape hates Harry so much, is that he reminds him of Lily especailly her eyes!

That is what I have been saying for weeks now about Snape and Lilly, I am so glad that Daniel validated my thoughts to some extent. I wonder why Alan Rickman is privileged to the information? Nobody else knows what is happening with their characters....does this mean that Rickman will act in the rest of the movies?
