Numerous photos have surfaced online from Gloucester Cathedral where actors Daniel Radcliffe (in an overcoat), Rupert Grint (in costume as Ron), and Alan Rickman (as Severus Snape and out of costume), amongst others, are filming scenes for
Half-Blood Prince.
According to
The Citizen they arrived at 10am along with Dame Maggie Smith and Tom Felton.

Reporter Kate Nicholls managed to get a quick look behind the scenes - and saw crew busy making magical potions ready for the filming of the sixth book in the series - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
She said: "I saw them pouring vividly-coloured soup into bowls, with different food colourings ready to be added. It looked as though they could only be getting potions ready."

Two sets of crutches were also spotted arriving at the set - leading to speculation the scenes after Ron falls from his broom in a game of quidditch could be being filmed.
It is believed filming will go on until 7pm tonight, and will be finished at the Cathedral by the end of tomorrow.
UPDATE: More pictures have emerged, showing David Yates, Stuart Craig (production designer), James Phelps (who is working as an assistant director) and extras arriving on set.
The rest of the photos, including those of Alan, Rupert and Tom Felton's body doubles, can be seen
in the galleries. Thanks to
This is Gloucestershire,
Oclumencia , the
BBC and
Potterish for the pictures.
