| | |  Dan Radcliffe pays tribute to murdered Rob Knox
Daniel Radcliffe wrote a note to Half-Blood Prince co-star Robert Knox after his death last May, expressing how much of a pleasure it was to know the Marcus Belby actor and his devastation at the tragic events that occurred last year. It can be read below (it was released and intended to be read by the public, as the post scriptum shows).

There is also a photo of Robert's mother holding a copy of Half-Blood Prince signed by the cast of the sixth film, which can be seen below. Rupert Grint was amongst the many co-stars, who said: Quote:
“Rob, It was an honour to have known you and whenever I’m on the Southend strip I’ll be thinking of you. Rest in peace mate.”

My heart goes out to his mother as I am a mother too, I can't even begin to imagine a tragedy like this, let alone losing a child period...I wish her all the best and that hopefully she will be able to move on for the rest of her family who most definitely needs her!!!  Rob Knox

That was a good way to pay their respects to his family. Still it is tragic that it happened at all and I know that I will cry when I see him in the film and know that his life was ended at so early an age. Like most of you I also feel sorry for his family and friends, most especially his mother though. Rob Knox
