Dan Radcliffe, along with HP co-star Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), will join several other celebrities on American Idol Gives Back, a fundraiser for childhood poverty in the U.S. and Africa. The show will air on April 24 and 25.
UPDATE: Jenna at DR.com has added that whilst Dan will be contributing to this event in some capacity, he will NOT be on the show in-person (as he's performing in Equus virtually every night, this seemed fairly obvious to begin with.) Mugglenet report that instead a pre-recorded video made by Dan will be shown.
yeah i actually was watching the show when they announced it and i literally almost lost it! i was with my friends and they actually thought i was going to faint or something...but im ok now thats really nice of him and Hellena Bonham Carter and i cant wait to see the show *runs to time it on TiVo*
