Dan Radcliffe interview & photoshoot in Details Magazine (UPDATE)
Dan Radcliffe has done a new photoshoot in Details Magazine. The new images accompany an article in which Dan discusses his career so far, from Harry Potter to Equus.

Attending school became difficult for him after the first movie came out. “Some people did get very aggressive,” he says. “People say it was just jealousy, but I don’t think it is jealousy. I think it’s just ‘We can have a crack at the kid that plays Harry Potter.’ As Eddie Izzard says, these people always hang about in fives, because these people have a fifth of a personality each.”

Radcliffe has been denied other youthful pleasures too. He has not yet been to a nightclub, again for fear of tabloid exposure: “All it takes is for me to be seen chatting up a girl for them to, you know, make up some crappy headline about me being a sex rat or whatever they call it.”

And then there is that relentless compulsion to show off his body. One startled British tabloid saw his nude scene in Equus and headlined an article hairy botter. “First, it’s a crap pun because botter isn’t even a word,” Radcliffe says. “But equally it’s that thing of being shocked that I should have hair—you know, anywhere else other than on my head. It’s not so much that they don’t want me to grow up. It’s that they’re annoyed that I’m growing up adjusted. They’d much rather I was growing up and going wild and crashing cars.”

He also admits to having the nightmare about playing Harry Potter forever. He still has two more Potter films to make, and says he is looking forward to them. But he is relieved there will be no more. “I had a minor heart attack the other day,” he says, the result of a message on his phone that read: ROWLING PROMISES EIGHTH HARRY POTTER BOOK. Radcliffe thought, Aaaargh, no! But it turned out Rowling was contributing to a charity book about magic. So for a brief and nasty moment, the star of Harry Potter was . . .
“Yeah, the only kid in the world who doesn’t want an eighth Harry Potter book.”

wow, i never used to like dan that much but he's always so cute in his interviews. i think i am starting to develop a not-so-secret crush on him...ahh!

Wow dan looks wierd but for u people that thnk he is wrong for not wanting eight you should understand that it has taken 7 years of his life arleady i want eight books 2 but look at it in his place he doesnt see itas we do
LOL I love how he tries to look so serious and edgy. He does it well, but he ought to just accept that a little part of us will always see him as Harry Potter!
About the nightclubs - YOU'RE MISSING NOTHING. Don't worry, have fun in other ways. You don't know what Englands teenagers are really like thanks to always have been in movies.
You are also NOT the only kid who doesn't want an 8th HP Book!
