Jam Showbiz! has compiled reasons for and against several celebrities being considered geeks.
According to Jam, "Today, geek is chic and the nerds are taking over the entertainment industry, replacing the Tom Cruises and Brad Pitts of the world. "
Dan Radcliffe's name is mentioned. The section pertaining to him reads: Quote: WHY HE'S A GEEK: If it wasn't for the success of the Harry Potter movies, Radcliffe would be cast as a nerd solely based on his looks.
WHY HE'S CHIC: He's a heart-breaker. Jealous fans have launched a hate-filled website against actress Katie Leung, 17, because she kisses Radcliffe in Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire.
Please note that Harry DOES NOT kiss Cho in ' Goblet of Fire'. That rumour (along with one about Hermione kissing Krum) was previously debunked by a WB representative.
Other celebrities featured include Sarah Jessica Parker, Quentin Tarantino, Alyson Hannigan,Tobey Maguire and Adam Brody.

LOL To people who don't find him 'hot' he is kinda geeky. Especially when he was younger. He was a cutie then, but you had to think of him in a geek-y way. Which isn't always bad, sometimes that's cool.

Geeks don't mean nerdy glasses and pocket protectors for your shirt pocket. :p Geeks is actually... how can I explain? Okay, take Oz from Buffy... people have considered him "geeky cool" but we all know Oz doesn't wear anything like that. It's just the way he is. So they're thinking along the same lines for Dan.

well i would say that he is a little bit of a geek but i think hes just your normal everyday person, besides the fact that hes a huge star....
well and if there were a couple of kisses in the next movie could you blame them? I mean the kids arent going to be 11 years old forever!
Anyway....

I think they're referring to "Harry Potter" and not Dan. I don't see Dan as a geek, but when he's "Harry Potter", glasses and all, that's when he looks geeky.

I think some people would be bothered because no kisses actually happen in canon (in GoF) which is why they won't happen in the film. Quote:

They shouldn't because it's a list of actors and they don't actually make a Potter reference when listing reasons, all they say is Dan is to kiss so-and-so in a HP film, which is untrue.

me personally dun tink hes a geek. he doesnt EVEN wear glasses, well mostly jus cuz he plays hp in th emovie. and harry potter isnt a geek either!! and hes so freakin cute!!! lol
