While no photos of the actors have been released yet, the winners of the 2010 National Movie Awards have already been announced. Half-Blood Prince won best Family film, while the Harry Potter series received a Special recognition award at the event in London this evening.
Photos of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Bonnie Wright, all of whom are confirmed to attend this evening's ceremony, have not been released yet; we will update as soon as they are made available online, as well as videos of the films' victories.
For those interested, a list of winners is as follows: Quote:
• Action/Thriller - Sherlock Holmes
• Family - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
• Fantasy - The Twilight Saga: New Moon
• Most Anticipated Movie of the summer - The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
• Breakthrough Movie - The Time Traveller's Wife
• Performance of the Year Male/Female - Robert Pattinson (The Twilight Saga New Moon)
• Special recognition award - Harry Potter
• Screen Icon - Tom Cruise
Congratulations to all the winners! UPDATE: Dan, Emma, and Bonnie were in attendance (Rupert did not attend due to illness). They had this to say in regards to their win: Quote:
Daniel said: "Thank you very much" before apologising for the absence of Rupert Grint who was sadly ill.
Emma Watson shone in a black and white sparkley mini dress and said: "Thank you so much. It's such an honour that you still love these films as much as we still love making them."
