Harry goes through what every teenager goes through, in a way. He feels angry. And, of course, Harry’s feelings are exacerbated by the fact that he has had all of these troubles in his life, and has had people trying to kill him at numerous times, really. And so he’s incredibly angry, sort of all the time. We did the scene the other day where he confesses to Sirius about how he feels sort of angry constantly and how he thinks he’s turning into a sort of a bad person. There’s a lot going on inside of his head, and I think that, for me as an actor, that makes him more interesting to do.

There’s been this thing in the papers recently in England where I’ve been saying, “Oh, I had to kiss Katie 30 times.” And I’d just like to clarify: You normally do about 30 takes on any scene, whether it’s a scene with Dumbledore walking up stairs or whatever, because you just end up doing it from loads of different angles. And so we did that, and it was fun. At first me and Katie were both very nervous about it, but after about take four or five, we just started to get so we didn’t really care anymore. So it was fine.

I think musical theater can be spared my talents. I don’t know … I’m not sure, really. Anything. I mean it’s very hard to say I would like to play this kind of part, because there are great parts in any genre. I mean, there are people, I suppose, I would want to play. If there was ever a biographical film about David Bowie, that would be an amazing thing, to be able to play David Bowie. But he’s not dead yet, and hopefully he won’t be for a long time, and so I think it’s a bit hasty to think of that. But, I mean, anything, basically, I’d like to do. Anything that’s challenging. Anything that’s going to test me I would like to do, I think.
