| | |  Dan Radcliffe discusses 'Half-Blood Prince' & book 7
In a new interview with the Australian Herald Sun, Dan Radcliffe has discussed ' Half-Blood Prince', book 7 and his upcoming role in the theatre production of Equus.
In regards to starring in ' Half-Blood Prince', Dan says he doesn't know yet if he will do it but that the book is fantastic and if the script does it justice then he would be foolish to turn it down.
Dan insists that Jo hasn't told him anything about Harry's fate and he reitterates his theory that Harry has to die for Voldemort to be stopped.
Speaking about ' December Boys', a film he shot in Australia at the end of last year, he says it was great experience working with different people and being a different character.
Finally, he makes a brief mention about his role in Equus, which in all previous productions has required the lead actor to appear on stage nude. Dan has said that it is all a part of playing the character and for him to not do so, wouldn't really be staying true to the material. He also adds that he's nervous, excited and terrified at the prospect.

Poor Dan is going to have to be really brave, he gets so much media attention as it is already. I bet everyone will be searched to stop them filming it, but you can guarantee that someone will sneak photos out.

If any one of the trio is replaced for/turns down HBP or Untitled Movie #7, I can guarantee they'll lose at least three ticket sales (myself and my parents, who always come with me, lol). It just won't be the same. I don't care if they're like 30 years old and they have to play a teen, lol - it's been done before, and they've become brilliant actors so I know they could play younger. It'd be such a shame for them not to see out a series that they had an important hand in building.
Equus sounds ... odd. I don't want to see him nude, and I don't care if it's part of the story or not.  That's Harry Potter up there!

 Daniel is an amazing actor and it will be really dissapointed if they replace him in any of the Harry Potter  films, Equus I really don't want to see Daniel naked that will very akward I love him and everything, but I think it won't just look good.!!!!!!!!!!

wow! dan is actully going to the nude part,im suprised....i thought he wouldnt do it and i thought his parents would definetly not alllow it. oh well,what evr happents has to happen.But still it seem so wrong for him to do.poor poor dan.

i really hpe that they stay caz like laudienne sed it jus wudnt b the same, age is no prob i mean tke the series sugar rush in da uk, the main character is 17 but the actress hu plays her is actually 22 n thats roughly how old rupert will b by the time hp7 will b released at the cinema, n i was suprised2 hear dat da actress from sugar rush was 22 caz i fort she looked 17 so age is no prob wat so eva.
as 4 equs i cnt c wat the fuss is about that dan is gonna do it, its up 2 him n i fink its gr8 hes doin it, im w/ him all day way, i wish i cud go n c it 2 show my support
n as 4 december boys, i cnt w8 2 hear his aussie accent, but is it definately being released in the uk? its been bugging me 4 a while n its jus addin 2 the stress im in bout GCSE results day lolz

It's a shame that the actors are getting a bit old for the films, because now there are only a couple of films left, so it would be pointless replacing one of the trio for just 1 or 2 films. i wish they had kept to the whole "movie a year" thing. we would already have the 5th film if they did that! 
I really do hope that the script writers do HBP justice, although it is extremely unlikely that they will.
and Dan must have been paid A LOT for that theatre role! i have no idea why his parents are letting him do that...or why he would want to anyway...

well good luck dan. why wouldnt he do the movies i mean the audience would hate the new cast if they got a new one because we all <3 the current trio so much.

I don't think appearing nude in the theatre is a good idea. I hope he changes his mind, he's too young to be doing things that will follow him throughout his career..
