| | |  Dan Radcliffe confirms filming nude Deathly Hallows sequence & Seven Potters
France's One magazine released a new interview with actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows set. Dan spoke about filming the Seven Potter scenes and how confusing it got; Emma feared having to kiss Dan for the fantasy Harry and Hermione sequence; and Rupert revered Dan for his hard work, even whilst sick. A small scan of the interview (in French) and the article can be seen and a translation read below.  Quote: Daniel Radcliffe
"In the Deathly Hallows, you'll see Harry as you've never seen him before! For example, I shot a scene where I'm entirely naked. When I read the script, I thought that I would have underwear but no! I've already done it for Equus so it wasn't so difficult. I'm wondering how people will react, even if any things will be hidden on the screen!"
"Recently, we've finished a scene in which I had difficulty. It's the 7 Potter's scene! We had to shoot a take where I was a different Harry instead of the other actors. It was fun, but very hard, because sometimes I forgot who I had to be ... That made me crazy!"

How freaking exciting... Too bad they aren't going to show all of Dan...  Maybe just his buttocks? This should be epic!  I can't wait to see how Rupert portrays the reaction between Hermione and Harry. I hope it is how I picture it in my mind... Also, I am completely STOKED for Hermione and Ron's kiss. I really hope they don't over do the nudity because it will just be weird seeing that in a Harry Potter film and there will be millions of kids going to see it. I don't even want to see buttocks, top half is enough. A good director won't need nudity to create that shock moment (and david yates is good, hope he makes the right decision)

Maybe it will be a far shot of him laying on the ground with his back to the camera. With all of the fog/mist in that scene, we would probably just get a tasteful glimpse. I'm sure whatever they do it will be tasteful.

I can imagine how difficult it would be for Dan to film the nude scene. He has known those people since he was a little kid and it would be pretty awkward even if it doesn't show in the movie, he still acted it out like that.  (I doubt they will show anything in the movie)
I can't wait for the Dan/Emma kiss either! That part will definately be haunting. Poor Ron!

cant wait!!!!!! for all of it..!!!!!!
but i wonder if emma is done with filming...? meaning she has already done all her part. the kiss the epilogue...all of it...!!!!!!!!!
she was back in the uk for the holidays, she has to be back at brown already, i am guessing because school already started again, so then? she does not have another break till spring but that is only a week and then summer, but classes end in may and filming too.... ????

She still has to film the epilogue, so she's not completely done yet. Given that the film's set to end in May/June, she can totally finish it after she's done with uni this term.
