As a part of his December Boys promotion Dan Radcliffe was interviewed by axm magazine. The online preview sees him talking about fans and his experience on Extras.

No, but I’ve been sent weird things. I was sent a big plastic rubber ear thing from Japan. The gag is you’re supposed to fold the ear up into quarters and sort of hold it at your ear and then at dinner parties you release it and it’s this big ear. When I told that story in Japan all these Japanese journalists started laughing because it’s some massive joke there which, er, totally goes over my head! And then people ask me to sign their IPhones. I’ve signed about half a dozen of them. People at the red carpets present them to me. I’m like, ‘Are you sure? this is an expensive phone and my writing is horrible.’ But they keep on coming.
