VH1 have a run a ' Best of 2005' feature with celebrities stating their favourite movies and music of the year. Included are the opinions of Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson. Quote: Dan Radcliffe
The best album of the year so far is Arcade Fire's Funeral. The title makes it sound like it's all doom and gloom, but it's actually not. The reason it's called Funeral is because seven members of the band's family died when they were making it. But it's just the most beautiful, sometimes sad and sometimes really uplifting album I've heard recently. Absolutely brilliant.

I thought Closer would be good but it disappointed me. Beyond sex, it didn't seem to have much of a storyline going. The characters slept around with each other so much, it left little room for you to feel sorry for them or relate to them. IMO, at least. I've one Arcade Fire song on a TV advert and it's very different, but kind of epic and calming at the same time.

wow emma's into hip hop? who knew?! i'm not much of a hip hop fan (i'm all about rock) but i LOVE kayne west, he is just an amazing rapper n i love "gold digger". anything by kayne west is great. arcade fire? no idea who they r. dan always seems to be into random bands i have never really heard of, although he does like some good bands but most of them i'm just like "who the heck is that?!" lol.

Dan, I really never heard of that album....is that wrong? Or is it just that they're not well known in the Netherlands...(after all, I also just heard of Josh Groban and he turns out to be huge in his scene in the US...)
