| | |  Czech publisher fined for pirated Goblet of Fire books
Well, it took a while but justice has finally been served … or has it?
Czech publishing house owner Vlastimil Svoboda was sentenced today to a one-year suspended sentence and fined more than $10,000 for selling 10,000 pirated copies of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for $5 a piece back in 2004.
So, according to my calculations, he pulled in a nice profit of $40,000. 
In addition, according to reports, Svoboda has already filed an appeal with the court to get out of paying the fine. | |

That's like, a dollar per book he's being fined. Take that away, he still has his profit of $40,000...
They should take away all of his profits! Sheesh...
