| | |  Confirmed: Daniel Radcliffe finish How to Succeed run Jan 1, Darren Criss to replace
Several well-renowned and legitimate news sources are reporting that Daniel Radcliffe will finish his run as J. Pierrepont Finch on How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying before the new year, to be replaced by Glee and Harry Potter musical actor Darren Criss for a three-week stint beginning January 3, 2012. Deadline and E! Online stated that Criss' confirmation to the role will be announced as soon as this Monday. 
UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Dan's final day at How to Succeeed will be January 1, 2012, and he will indeed be replaced by Criss. The press release is below. The producers of the 50th Anniversary production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING announced today that Darren Criss, breakout star of Fox’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning smash hit television show “GLEE”, will make his Broadway debut as J. Pierrepont Finch, performing a strictly limited three week engagement from January 3, through January 22, 2012. He will replace Daniel Radcliffe, who will play his final performance on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Tickets for Mr. Criss’ engagement in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING are now on sale.
“Daniel gives an extraordinary performance eight times a week and we knew finding someone to fill his shoes would be nearly impossible. When we learned of Darren’s dream of performing on Broadway we knew we had found our Finch but presumed his “GLEE” schedule would eliminate any chance to work with him,” said director/choreographer Rob Ashford. “We are ecstatic and grateful to Ryan Murphy and his “GLEE” team at 20th Century Fox TV for helping to make both Darren’s and our dream come true.”

The H2S Facebook page replied to a comment yesterday saying that tickets for performances between Christmas and New Year's will be onsale shortly. Dan said in an interview that he's making the most of it because after 1st January, he won't be doing it again, and as 1st January is a Sunday (and Criss is rumoured to be taking over from the 3rd), it'd make sense for that to be Dan's last show.

I honestly have never seen the big huge deal about Darren Criss ( On Tumblr people practically bow down to him). However I think he will be a decent replacement for Dan.
I just wish I could find a way to see Dan on stage before his run is done.

Aw, I'm still hoping to see it, but my money situation isn't getting any better...
As much as I love Darren Criss, I kinda don't want to him to be in this musical (if it's actually confirmed to be true) because it seems like he's following Dan's footsteps in a way. If it's any other musical, I would be perfectly happy for him. But since it's this one...
Also, I don't see Darren playing a sly, manipulative character like Finch. (Harry Freakin' Potter and Blaine are like super-nice gentlemen compared to him. ) I'll be impressed if he proves me wrong though.
