Post Coming Soon's GoF Set Report

Coming Soon have posted a preview of their 'Goblet of Fire' set report which includes sneaks peeks at the Yule Ball and Triwizard Tournament Tasks.

Quote:
Stuart Craig, who created the look for all of the Potter films, designed new outdoor environments for the Triwizard Tournament and impressive outdoor sets that includes the camp at the Quidditch World Cup and an enormous graveyard.

Creature effects supervisor Nick Dudman built a full-size animatronic dragon, while costume designer Jany Temine designed hundreds of ball gowns for the movie's centerpiece, the Yule Ball.

The fourth film also marks the first on-screen appearance of Harry's arch-nemesis, the dark wizard Voldemort, as played by Ralph Fiennes, although the way he'll show up in the movie is the biggest secret at Leavesden these days.
They will post their full report later this year.

Snuggy!

^^yes, and he'll wake up at The Burrow. I'm not at all mad that the Dursleys have been cut, it was a funny scene, but it'll flow nicer this way. I still think if you havent read the books you'll be confused, my mom hasnt read any of them, and I had to explain parts of PoA. But she still thinks it's great!

Yeah, the Dursleys are the most easily cut characters and not exactly the most missable either so it's a sensible cut. It'll also throw us straight into the story cos I imagine shortly after that they'd be heading off to the QWC.

Well I know that, but his chances of being in is greater than that of the Dursley's whose inclusion was cut altogether.

As far as the cuts go, I don't think there will be anything too drastic. With the omission of the Dursleys, Bagman, and much of the QWC and SPEW scenes minimized I think they will be able to fit most of the other stuff inside.
