| | |  Coming Soon's GoF Set Report
Coming Soon have posted a preview of their 'Goblet of Fire' set report which includes sneaks peeks at the Yule Ball and Triwizard Tournament Tasks. Quote:
Stuart Craig, who created the look for all of the Potter films, designed new outdoor environments for the Triwizard Tournament and impressive outdoor sets that includes the camp at the Quidditch World Cup and an enormous graveyard.
Creature effects supervisor Nick Dudman built a full-size animatronic dragon, while costume designer Jany Temine designed hundreds of ball gowns for the movie's centerpiece, the Yule Ball.
The fourth film also marks the first on-screen appearance of Harry's arch-nemesis, the dark wizard Voldemort, as played by Ralph Fiennes, although the way he'll show up in the movie is the biggest secret at Leavesden these days.
They will post their full report later this year.

Because Voldemort here is much older. Christian played the 16 year old version whereas Voldemort is supposed to be over fifty at the present time in GoF.

The dragons animatronic Thank the heavens, CGI is sooooooooo overrated. And Ralph Fiennes, needs to change the spelling of his first name, but him as Voldemort *faints* Can't wait.

Ralph Fiennes is a brilliant actor, I'm sure he'll do a good job. This film sounds very good, but I hope they don't cut or change too much.

I am always excited when they bring in another great actor into the cast. I SO can NOT wait to see Fiennes as Voldemort. I can only imagine how the trio of actors feel - I think I recall Dan saying way back when in an article or interview that when asked, he wanted to see Ralph Fiennes join the cast. I guess now he gets his wish. Hmm... "although the way he'll show up in the movie is the biggest secret at Leavesden these days" - I personally imagine he'll be sitting in a high backed chair in the Riddle house with his Nagini. Camera swings from behind the chair and closes up on his face. If he's in a hood, I can imagine his red eyes glowing eerily in the dark. *grins*

Wow, I can't wait for all of this, or more like for the movie to just come out! All this news bit by bit is kind of making the waiting worse since it's so close but we just can't have the whole thing. Ah I love it!

That doesn't mean it wont be cut in the editing room. Alot that is filmed never actually makes it to the final cut.
I think the movie will start with the murder of Frank Bryce and after Voldemort as pointed his wand and the green flashes, the Harry Potter logo will come up and the music will go really loud then cut scene and we see Harry waking up all shaken.
Perfect way to start a film.
