In an interview with The Herald, Robbie Coltrane has hinted that he may not return for 'Order of the Phoenix' due to other more appealing roles in productions with The National Theatre of Scotland.

Robbie said the following in relation to OotP, "It's open to negotiations . . . I know the answer and it's 'I don't know'. That's that."

He declined to comment any further on the future of the role, instead praising the Goblet of Fire, although he admitted it was 'a very complicated plot'.

Some may remember an interview Robbie gave last August in which was said,

I ask whether he will sign on for the final three films. “I don’t know. I really don’t know what the circumstances will be for the last three. I don’t know if I should be saying this, although if anyone has got any brains they’ll have worked it out, but if Jo Rowling hasn’t finished books six and seven within the next two years, the kids we’ve got at the moment will be too old to play the parts. And they may not even want to. So it depends on the variables.

Please bear in mind, this isn't official. Robbie has only said 'I don't know' in relation to the question of his return.

That's weird. That would've made her 12 when she went to Hogwarts, thinking that Ron was born in 1980 at least. Which all the fan sites seem to think. LOL

No she turned 12 after she got to Hogwarts, Sept 19th after the school year started. It's the way our school system works. Those born from September 1979 through to the end of August 1980 would be in the same academic year.

It's just that... Okay, I started school when I was 5, but I didn't turn 5 'til Sept. 18th in 1985. So for that to work with Hermione, she'd have to start school in 1990 to be 11 when the start of the semister rolled around. If Ron was born in 1980, that would mean he'd have to start in 1991. LOL I think what's confusing me is what year was Ron born in? That will solve everything. Because if he was in 1979, then Hermione wouldn't be older, but if it's 1980, she would.

Ron was born 1980, as was Harry. I think what's important is that the kids have to be 11 before they join Hogwarts, which they all were. The series starts in 1991, I'm sure of it because by then Harry & Ron are 11 and Hermione turns 12 after the starts of the school year. Year 1 is where you're 11 but you're 12 by the starts of the next year. 11 going on 12. Then 12 going on 13. etc...

I guess I just have that American system stuck in my head. LOL That you should start school when you're 4 as long as you turn 5 by a certain date... And it's quite funny because that makes Hermione older than Ron and Harry.
