Post Close-up on HBP artwork

A few days ago the sleeves and back cover images on the UK Children's edition of 'Half-Blood Prince' were released.

A screensaver on the Bloomsbury website gives us a closer look at the lightening-bolt ring that featured on the spine of the cover.

The image can be seen here.

Harry and Dumbledore arm wrestling on the spine may symbolise that harry is going to turn to Voldemorts side, or it could mean that Dumbledore wants to deal with Voldemort and the battle in one way, and Harry wants to take measures into his own hands?
The hands, to me, look united. And the spell, the fire, comes from DD's wand if you look at the front part of the cover. So it's some sort of spell which is stronger with their both strength combined.

Seeing as the spell (fire) comes from DD, that must be DD's hand.

I suppose J.K. made lots of new bad things for Harry in this book.
Image seems to display some uniting of power thing, but it`s so uncertain, this all.....

Could the ring be dumbledore's? I dunno it just looks like its cracked. and whoever made the point about the fact that (im going to assume its harry and dumbledores hands) harry seems to be holding on to dumbledore, but dumbledore is not holding on back. could this be a clue that dumbledore is going to die but harry doesnt want him too? also: does it seem a bit odd to you that on the front cover dumbledore seems to have a "scared" look on his face? because as far as i know i dont think dumbledore is afraid of anything...

wow, talk about invoking a lot of thought!!! I agree it's DD and harry. but the ring baffles me. Is it a ring that's been affected from a spell like harry's scar or was it made like that originally. hmmmmmmmmmm

I just can`t wait for the book (alright, it has been said by one million other users). Judging from the cover we might expect some really exciting and powerful scenes in the book.. *cough Dumbledoreisthegreatestcough*
