Nylon Magazine recently conducted an interview with Clemence Poesy (Fleur) in which she briefly spoke about her work on Harry Potter and how she thinks she'll handle the recognition. Quote:
"And it's safe to say that her appearance, as much as her resumé, helped prompt director Mike Newell to cast her in the fourth Harry Potter movie. She plays haughty Fleur Delacour, the object of every boy in Hogwarts' desire. "I think Mike saw my character as the image English and American people can have of a French girl," she says. "Very cool, very intelligent, and kind of snobby at first. Fleur and her friends [who attend the rival Beauxbatons school] have much sexier outfits than the Hogwarts girls, and they're much more confident. Also, they're 17, so they're almost adults."
Every Harry Potter film is a huge event, so is Poésy a little intimidated by the attention she's bound to receive? "I am a bit anxious," she admits, taking off her sunglasses. "I don't want to be recognized or anything like that. It's weird, because people think of you as being like your character in big films like this. I have had interviews where the journalist seems to think I am actually Fleur, and has asked me what my favorite magic candy is! And I don't know, do I? Because I don't actually live in the wizarding world. But you know, if I thought too much about what is going to happen when the film comes out, it would drive me crazy. SO I don't." For now, it seems best to let Poésy enjoy the peace and quiet while she can and so I leave her, as I found her, reading by the pool."

well she is pretty and french and a good actress. mike newell would have had a hard time to find someone veela beautiful tho. the only thing i don't like is that they have her hair up all the time and i haven't seen it long and silvery and flowing like rowling decribes in the books constantly.

I think she's gorgeous. She's how I pictured her. It would be so annoying to have people come up to you and think that you're the character that you play.

well,hmm,let me see..a reporter asked her what her fav. magical candy was...where do they find these people? Anyway..Clemence seems like she's very grounded and I think she'll handle the "FAME" alright.

i think its really rude of people to be all like ew shes so ugly its hurtful i admit at 1st i was like ew cho but it isnt there flaut mike newell has a diffrent vision then all of us my fleur was diffrent from ur fleur i admit when i saw her i was like ick plain girl but i see some pics of her and i go wow wonderful! she seems very down to earth all relaxed good job clemence! hopefully she will be wonderful
