| | | Cherrybomb to be screened at LA Irish Film Festival Cherrybomb, one of Rupert Grint's non-Potter films, will be screening next month at the Los Angeles Irish Film Festival in California. The screening will take place on September 25th at 7:30pm at the Aero Theatre, Montana Avenue at 14th Street, Santa Monica.

Wow how long has it been since they've been holding the movie out for release? Good to hear its gonna be screened but it would be nice to actually have some sort of release date...

So far, that hasn't happened. It's not the fault of the film-makers that nobody's buying and thus you can't see it. It's a good film imo. I think a large part of it is that the recession is making people less likely to take a chance on small independent films that likely won't make much money and might cost more to put out there, than they'd earn back.
