News Letter interviewed one of Rupert Grint's co-stars from his upcoming film CherryBomb, who spoke highly of his fellow actors (including Rupert), calling them "really friendly."
The article states that CherryBomb is due to be released January 2009, though this should be considered a rumour until the film's executives confirm it. Ice Cream Man also spoke to a fan who met Rupert on the CherryBomb set, who was kind enough to give details about her encounter with the actor. Rupert (whom the fan said was "sort of shy, but… very much endearingly so"), briefly spoke to the fan (whom he hugged and took photos with, as well), and signed an Irish-language copy of one of the Harry Potter books (which Rupert, after quickly sifting through the pages, said was "really cool"), after he had finished filming that particular day. | |

Wow, January is really soon. For some reason I thought it would be summer. Also, is it wide release? It probably doesn't matter. If something isn't a blockbuster it doesn't come out where I live.  I"ll probably have to wait on the DVD like I did for Driving Lessons. Also, I'm not surprised Rupert is endearingly shy. It really shows! And I love him for it. | |

I may have to wait for it on DVD, because most movie theaters in the States don't show small, non-blockbuster films. I probable will have to wait for it until it is released in the summer on DVD-bummer! | |

January? Wow, that seems fairly soon even though it's already August. It still seemed like it was in some filming and post-production stages... huh, who knows
I really do wanna see this movie! It looks good, and it's got Rupert in it, the best actor of the trio 
I can't wait for the DVD release out here (cause all of Canada's theatres are like, American-owned so we won't get this movie either... x.x) It looks so cool!

| But it took a fair bit of time for that to happen. By the time they get out here it's fairly late in the game and no one really thinks or cares about it as much.
Basically if the movie isn't U.S made, it doesn't get released in the U.S. It'll be big in the U.K because it's BBC, but if it isn't a name like Warner Bros, it won't be out in the U.S or Canada. | |
