To me Charlotte Church doesn't look right for the part of Hermione,If was the casting director I would turn her down because she is too old and she can't act....................
Did anyone else she her in "HEARTBEAT"(ITV) two or three years ago? she didn't do a good job.

To me just because she was suggested doesn't mean she was close to being Hermione.Also, I think a bit chubby and Emma Watson fits the character much better. B)

I have no clue about her potential acting abilities (never seen her in a film or anything), but she's definitely NOT an opera singer.
Or if she is, then I'm Queen Elizabeth. B)
I don't mean to offend anyone, but if Church is being considered an opera singer then she is just a fraud. :whisle: She simply cannot sing, at least not in the classical acception of that term.

And anyway, to go back to the Hermione topic, she is just not Hermione either… whereas Emma is just perfect! :flowersmile:

I think Charlotte Church has a wonderful voice, I don't understand why your slating her, she's an amazing talent. But I agree with the acting part, that wouldn't have worked.
