Summary:
Security cameras have been installed at Gloucester Cathedral in an effort to deter vandals.

Article:

Security cameras have been installed at Gloucester Cathedral in an effort to deter vandals.

Five cameras will monitor visitors to the cathedral, recording high quality video images.

Technicians have attempted to ensure the monitoring equipment is hidden so it does not detract from the architecture in the 900-year-old building.

The cathedral - which was used as a setting for the Harry Potter films - faced a £35,000 repair bill in November last year after 26 stained glass windows were smashed.

No one has been charged in connection with the attack.

A cathedral spokesman said the cameras were designed to protect both the building and its visitors.

Things like this really annoy me, you really would think these vandals would just grow up and get a job or something!

I hope they do catch the little toerags and hang them in the dungeons by their thumbs! >

Sorry about the rant, but it really p***es me off!

That seriously makes me sick in the stomach. People like that...it makes me want to puke. Honestly. Vandalizing a 900-year-old building...first of all, who has the time and who has the stupidity to come up with something like that? #$^%!
