Eh, is the casting director just assuming the Bulgarian actor won't be payed as much, or does he actually know? Well of course he want get paid as much as Dan, Rupert, or Emma :whisle: but I am sure the pay he does get will be a lot to him.  Especially considering the economy of the country he comes from. A little money to some people is a lot of money to others. :whisle: | |

i thought thst dan,emma and rupert didnt get as much as the adult actors on the harry potter movies anyway. but he should get as much as the people here get.

They finish school this year so the laws no longer count for them. They wont have all of it till 18.

Bozhinov doesn't know a thing. How in the world does HE know whether the kid will earn millions or not? What a pessimist.
I mean, he's one of those characters in the middle: Neither a major character, but he's important in some way. He's should have a salary around the middle. | |

Well, if I recall, Viktor was never said to be a pretty boy. Possibly, they are suggesting that nobody will like the boy cast as Viktor because he won't be as 'good-looking' as the others. That, and he's not a very popular character. He DOES make friends with Slytherins and comes from that 'dark arts' school.
Personally, I imagine that I'll love Viktor... I think he'll be awesome! I just hope he gets enough lines and isn't played like a major bad-guy the whole time. I mean, he wasn't THAT bad.

That's right. Who cares what this Cast Director says anyway? Whoever gets picked should be honored, not because he's gonna get lots of money for it, but for being lucky enough to star in HP...
If I was only Bulgarian, I would audition for that part, even if I don't get paid that much as the others would...

i didn't think he'd get paid much any ways cause they will shoot it only one movie so they'll have to cut a lot of the parts and Krums parts might be one of those and so if he doesn't have to act much why should they pay him much???

He will probably get paid enough, and being an actor in this league shouldn't be about money its the experience, and this is a great stepping stone for him, it could open up many other opportunities, so this Casting Director is talking utter nonsence.
