| | |  Broadway Equus tickets on sale
General sale of tickets for Equus on Broadway, New York, starring Dan Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley) opened yesterday. Previews start on September 5th, with the full run kicking off on September 25th and ending February 8th 2009. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to attend.

OMG!!!
I saw Equus in London on the closing night and I LOVED it! It was truly amazing! The best play I've ever seen... Dan just hits the role perfectly. I love the tiny songs he sings in it too... It's a very emotional and spooky play, but Dan and Richard make the play believeable and toally rock on the emotional scenes. I must admit that the scene when Alan Strang (Dan) blinds those horses... that's a very hard part to watch, but Dan and Richard are amazing.
Enjoy it to all the newcomers coming to see it in NYC for the first time! You'll be speechless at the play's end. I am coming to see it again here in NYC, and I know that once again I'll leave speechless. Equus is utterly beautiful...

maybe its too early to tell, its only May and opening night isnt until mid-September.
it would suck though, if Equus get bad Broadway reviews. imagine Dan has to do this for six months, playing right smack into the HBP screening. | |

Thing is, it's not like the films and the play have a huge cross-over audience...many kids would not be allowed to see this. | |
