I doubt it. Where else is there to go? It would be nice to have companion books and stuff like that, but this isn't DragonBall Z, with like eleventy bajillion books. It'd be overkill.

This reminds me of something that a friend of mine told me. This was...before DH came out, and HBP was already out. So my friend tells me that her aunt, who is apparently good at guessing this kind of stuff, has concluded that we will find out in the last book that Voldy is Harry's father. (She guessed that Vader was Luke's dad. Whatev.)

I stared at her for a moment.

I ask which books this aunt of hers has read.

She tells me everything up til (and including) GoF.

It was here that I commenced an impassioned diatribe of all the reasons why THIS ASSUMPTION COULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. I concluded this diatribe with, "If she had read Order of the Phoenix and the Half-Blood Prince she would know this. She is wrong."

Oh, good times. I wish I'd found SS by then; I had no one to have passionate, scholarly discussions with.

Umm... Rowling said herself she'd finished but something tells me she has as well. Although I think it would be nice for just one book later on about how his children got on...

Rowling did say that she was finished that it would be ten years before she would consider writting more Harry Potter... :\ So I don't think that she would write another Harry Potter book. Sadness, but it's realistic...

It's sad, but I don't think she will write another one, at least for the nexxt 10 years, that's what I'm hoping for because isnt that what she said?

I think Jo will make another book, but more likely it will be about someone else in the wizarding world, like Albus Severus.

yeah, it would be pretty wicked to read another book, and no one knows, maybe she really is thinking about it, but hasn't made it public, just to see whether the public will do exaclty what it's doing about a new book, then when everyone thinks all is lost and that she will never write another book on HP, another one will come out lol that would be wicked!!!!!

I don't think she'll write another HP book, but I do think she will write an encyclopedia. I can't wait for that!

While I would love to see this happen, I would be very surprised if it did. Well, we can always hope!

Poor Jo. Even if she says she won't write another, people still think she will. I suppose she could change her mind, but I find that unlikely. But if she does write another, I'll buy it!

I seriously doubt that she'd write a new book. I think Deathly Hallows was as much closure as we're going to get; She not only gave us a spectacular ending but also a glimpse into what happened after... Unless people want a full write up of the events following the Battle of Hogwarts, I can't think of what else there would be to write about.

I would like to see "exactly" what happened after he talked to Professor Dumbledore and fixed his wand, and before the nineteen years later. Would like to see how his kids do at school along with Ron and Hermione's kids.......

I don't know about anyone else, but the end of the series left me completely devastated. After 10 years of reading and waiting, it was very hard to say good-bye. I do have to say though, no matter how heartbroken anyone was or still is, I doubt she will write more Harry Potter. It is sad, yes, but true.
