seems to me harry had a run in w/ dementors over holiday and had to use a patronus to defend himself but now the ministry is trying to expell him.... stupid fudge, how i hate him!

I would tend to agree...it does seem that Harry had to use a patronus to stop dementors from (possibly) stealing him from the Dursley's to take him to Voldemort? Now the Ministry of Magic is having some sort of hearing about it all? Hmm...that does sound like Fudge, doesn't it? I hope Arthur Weasley becomes MoM! Apparently, it was a "life-threatening" situation, according to Hermione. That doesn't sound good.

What sort of house are they in, though? It almost sounds like the Riddle House...

it sounded at first as if harry was taken to the riddle house to hide out from the ministry..

but why would the dementors be after harry? how could he have accidentally run into one?

i guess we'll just have to wait until the book comes out to know for sure!

Yeah why would the dementors be after him again? Do you think that they know something about Harry that makes them want to find him again? Well yeah I guess we will have to wait, it is only 2 weekends away. :sorcerer:

:unsure: Didn't it say in the fourth book that the dementors would probably join Voldemort again? So maybe they are working for him and have to bring Harry to him.

I don't know about you guys but that sound like Herminow was listing things that had happend. She was telling Harry about all the stuff that she couldn't tell him. But I don't knwo let me gp look at the transcrpipt reall quick.

I agree that the dementors were probably trying to get Harry. He used the Patronus for protection. Fudge has weakened and maybe now he's joined the Dark Side, (hence the ending chapter of GoF, The Parting of Ways). Now the Ministry is after him. Aurther Weasely, being on the Good Side, stays at the Burrow to help out. Mrs. Weasley takes the kids to a special hideout. Harry gets there by a portkey arranged by Mr. Weasely. Because of the serpent doorknob, they could be at a number of places. The home of a Slytherin would be very unsafe, so perhaps it's at Hogwarts? We'll just have to wait and see Only 9 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i definitely think fudge had a run-in the dark side. i kno it sounds kinda stupid, but could the house possibly be professor snape's house? i mean maybe hermione and ron found out something about Harry/james/or lily potter and had to go into hiding. maybe if they found something out about lily potter snape would hide because of his supposed love for her? this would explain the serpent and the "dark wizard" look of the house. :sorcerer:

I dont think Fudge has gone bad, maby hes under the imperiuse (howevea ya spell that) curse or maby he is just plain DUMB!

omg, that is really cool! of course, i dunt believe he's actually going to get expelled, but i'm starting to like fudge less and less....

im not sure where exactly i read the information,might have been scholastic BUT there is mention of harry having a dream that terrifys him more than anything else hes ever experienced before,in that dream is a long corridor with a door at the end,could it be that harry is just dreaming all of that in connection with the door and the hallway?

Hi yall!! I think that you are right, it might have been in connection with the dream (BTW this was on the scholastic site). Maybe the house is Godric's Hollow, but it has been taken over by dark wizards.............remember Harry's parents used to live there :sorcerer:

I think that OotP is the turning point in the series! Which means that Harry is starting to find it harder...and harder to trust people. I think that Fudge has gone bad...and I also think that this book is going to leave Harry with his whole world falling apart...then he has to build it up again. Am I making any since lol...or am I just mad? I think I'm mad lol!

i dunno if this is real, like would they really put out an audio sample? and if they did, wouldnt they put out the passages that we already know, like the beginning?
