Bonnie Wright was the first to comment about J.K. Rowling's
revelation that she had second thoughts about the characters of Ron and Hermione getting together in the Harry Potter series. She spoke to The Telegraph from the InStyle BAFTA party this week about her own character, Ginny Weasley, and how she would fair with all the news.
Quote:
Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, says her character would have been fine if Harry had married Hermione Granger instead.
Interestingly, Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny in the films, thinks her character would have coped. “Ginny is a tough cookie so she’d have been fine,” she assured me at InStyle’s Bafta party at Dartmouth House. “She dated Dean Thomas before Harry, after all.” Wright says she understands how Rowling could have changed her mind over time.
