A Spanish writer claims her Harry Potter fanfic, Harry Potter y la Sombra de la Serpiente (Serpent’s Shadow) was pirated and being sold in bookstores in Latin America. J.K. Rowling’s agent has notified Warner Bros.
You can see a photo of the book here in our gallery.
Thanks to HarryLatino for e-mailing us (and for letting J.K. Rowling’s agent know)!
Hey!! This fanfiction have been selling in my country since february ( I'm from south america) this book in the stores and it seems impossible but some people really believed it was the real seventh book , of course it is not guilty of this spanish girl it was the pirates who did that.
And about this fanfiction is very good I read it in a spanish forum , if you can understand spanish you should rad it.
ha its kinda funny in a twisted way... Don't u feel sorry for the silly ppl who bought the book...cos the cover is the same for Goblet of Fire movie. ROFL!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for my english but I was born and live in Spain and I don´t use your languaje as much as I must.
First, I just wanted to thank you for publishing the news and help people not to buy this fake book. It just can be a damage for Rowling, Harry potter fans and... me. Why?
Because I´m that woman you are judging so quickly and happily. And I wonder: Why do you just say that "a spanish writer claims to be the author of" this thing? I don´t claim anything. I just said I wrote a fan fiction and it was stolen by someone, who had print it and is selling it.
Does this mean that I deserve to be push with "The Order of the Phoenix" in my head? If you think so, do it. Nor Rowling nor Warner Bros. blame me, but if you want to do that, ok. I just ask you not to judge if you haven´t got all the points of view.
Thanks for listening (reading) me and hugs to everybody.
Ninotchka.
