I don't know if my mom could get me to London. I'll enter just for the heck of it. If I win, (most likely I wont) I'll give my tickets away to someone who can get there.
Good luck to everyone who enters.

That would be amazing. My sister got to go to NYC this year, so in the very off chance that I win, my mum and dad would probably let me go. **hehehe** it amazes me how delusional I am--Im not creative at all. Oh, well its worth a shot!

I hate that it's under 16's; the 500 ticket one was under 18's, they shouldn't go changing the rules for the last few tickets.

I would love to enter but I really can't draw and besides, I am not under 16! If they added another ten years on that age limit I would have been alright - ahhhhh, discrimination thats what it is! :whisle: |

Probably, she's done stuff before in the States, it's just she's pregnant so she doesn't want to travel far and Edinburhg, where this festival is, is right on her doorstep |

I agree Emma, but what can you do? Sigh it's always younger people, i.e. under 16s that get to enter competitions! We love JK too! Oh well, I'm not creative enough anyway....I just hope someone on SS can win and tell us lot all about it!

The thing that really does my nut is that I'm one of the original fans ie; had JK stuck to a book a year, I'd have had all the books by now and have been the respective ages for reading them, book 1, 11 etc... I started when I was 11 and grew up with them yet some people win who are only fans of the films or who haven't even read OotP and well, that just gets my goat mainly because our ages 15/16/17/18 are the ones who had the books aimed at their age groups 6/7 years ago when all this started and Bloomsbury and forgetting that today's kids weren't there when it started and that the real fans are getting older and being forgetten.

I started reading them when I was 8 and yes, it makes me mad when people call themselves fans who have only seen the movies. I have a friend who said she was a complete HP Fan, but hadnt even read OOTP--WTH!
And what day is the reading?!

i dont know what day the reading is... but i totally agree with you on that fan thing. I had a friend who MADE me tell her on the phone who got killed in OOTP.... she got sooo annoying i JUST had to tell her. and its not like she didnt have the book, it was right next to her but she was too lazy to go look!
